Our travels are very present in our memories. For us, telling and retelling the stories, the hardships and the funny stories is like traveling again. We will never forget the attendant at a gas station in Belo Horizonte who, seeing the “Alaska Expedition 2001” car all decked out in stickers and ready to go, thought for a moment and asked: “- Hey, are you guys really going to Alaska?” We happily answered: “- Yes, we are going to Alaska.” Then came another question: “- And what time are you guys getting there?”

     

These and other memories are what motivated us to write these stories and to take other people on a trip with us. However, we will not give “travel tips”, because what for us is a “great trip” can be a “big embarrassment” for other people. We are “nomads” and we go wherever our nose points. And we have some oddities, and one of them is that since 2013 we have decided to travel on foot.

We hope this site is fun. And we will be happy if we can show, through our stories, that even if dreams are complicated and bizarre, they can and should still be lived.
